How do we as Christians describe success? The planetary chooses a material definition - digit of cars, massiveness of house, etc. What is the plumb-line by which we weigh not solely a life of success, but also daily success? If we set the mental object of one day character up to that time the God of the creation and hearing Him say, "Well done, one thousand polite and reliable servant," how do we manage that goal?
Thankfully God does not resign from this as a brainteaser. His Word indisputably states the principle of measuring for our souls: "He has told you, O man, what is well behaved and what Lord requires of you: but to do justice, to warmth mercy, and to waddle submissively beside your God." (Micah 6:8)
At the end of the day, I can fix your eyes on rearmost and watch my day against this formation. Was I only just today?
